Cooksey Family Farms
Meet Our Farmer
For five generations, Cooksey Farms has taken pride in land stewardship, serving the community, and of course, growing.
Family owned and operated in Roggen, Colorado, Cooksey Farms spans 10,000 acres—abundant with wheat, corn, alfalfa, sorghum, watermelon, pumpkins, and show cattle. Owner Vernon Cooksey, his three sons, and his grandson have all served as either an FFA or 4-H officer. They also volunteer for many local, state, and national board committees for those organizations.
Cooksey Farms relies on Pinnacle Agriculture for help overcoming many challenges, including fighting the Kochia weed. Why Pinnacle?
“You buy chemicals from people. And when you have good people, with good service, it makes a world of a difference.”
